I have been a rescue mommy all of my life. When I recently found out that a new no kill shelter was being built near me I had to get involved. It has also been my dream to help animals with my work. They were having a gala to raise money for the animals and taking donations for auction. I will be leaving all of my art to the care of abused animals. SO this was a way I can do it while I am still here. I donated four originals (two oils and two watercolors) and one framed giclee print and a pet portrait commission. ALL of my watercolors I used to do will be sold and 100% of the profits will go to this shelter and other animal groups taking care of rescues.

After the gala I learned of a dear friend losing her battle to cancer. She was a real fighter for animals. I was saddened by the loss of this angel who gave so much of herself to help them. In memory of Louise Mason I will continue her hard work and every purchase will be her fight continuing through me.
